I am talking about anti-trend and immaterialism at Pej Gruppen’s trend conference in May/June (in Danish!)

Keynote at the Berlin Fashion Week Summit with the title Antitrend – Aesthetics and the Power of Regenerative Cultural Systems March 16th 2022
202030 — The Berlin Fashion Summit is a cross-disciplinary platform, where avant-garde creatives meet industry stakeholders for constructive critical debates on the future of fashion. The aim is to bridge the gap between existing sustainability innovations and solutions with the industry’s need for pragmatic transformation guidelines and to envision tangible new alliances for new value chains for a sustainability-trendsetting future of fashion.
This year, 202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit will focus on the theme „Regenerative Fashion Systems – Implement Positive Impact.“ We challenge industry professionals to imagine ways in which we can continually push our understanding of sustainability to a new level, creating a holistic Positive Impact that helps our planet and each other – thrive. Through the framework of regenerative sustainability, we aim to restore biodiversity, reverse global warming, build diverse creative economies and culturally restorative systems, and create equity across entire supply chains. Over the course of three days, expert panels, presentations, and workshops will tackle the themes of the Global Perspective, the Local Perspective, and Implementation Guidance, to collaboratively create new, radical, integrative fashion systems.

Keynote on ethical fashion and anti-trends at the one-day symposium Responsible Fashion: how do we make our ideas a reality? arranged by Istituto Marangoni London November 24th 2021
About this event: The pandemic has provided space to step back and to reflect, to ask questions about the meaning, value and potential of fashion in a post-Covid world. How can the industry move forward in a responsible way? How must it change? What does responsible fashion really mean? What is it that we actually want to sustain? We know the problems, so let’s find solutions.
